“Biological diversity is the key to the maintenance of the world as we know it.”
~ E.O. Wilson, Biodiversity
Ready to ditch the lawnmower, watering system, fertilizer spreader and leaf blower? Would you like more birds and butterflies in your garden? Join Betty Struckhoff, a member of Wild Ones Natural Landscapers, for this inspiring session. Betty’s presentation will help you create a lively landscape, reduce maintenance, and increase 4 season interest all while drawing birds and butterflies to your garden. Betty is a native Missourian and an active member of Wild Ones Natural Landscapers. She has helped create native landscapes in local parks, other public spaces and private gardens. A Master Gardener since 2000, she is a winner of the St Louis Post Dispatch Best Native Garden contest. Her garden has also been certified Platinum in St. Louis Audubon’s Bring Conservation Home program. Betty volunteers with the Master Gardeners Speakers’ Bureau, Gateway Greening, St. Louis County Parks and Bring Conservation Home program. Wild One members will also be on hand to answer you questions. The fun starts at 4:30. This event is free and no reservations are required.
