Our tour guide, Natural History Biologist Bruce Henry with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC), will begin our tour at the MDC’s Sand Prairie Conservation Area near Benton, MO and explore the remnant prairie there. By car caravan we will proceed to several other sand prairies in the area, and end our tour at Lincoln University’s Finca Farm at Haywood City to learn about Lincoln’s native plant projects, and sample some native edibles.
