MPF Volunteers Needed for Conservation Day at Capitol (April 2)
The Conservation Federation of Missouri, of which MPF is an affiliate member, has organized Conservation Day at the Missouri State Capitol on April 2, 2015 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This event has been designed to bring conservationists from all across Missouri together at the Capitol for a day of promoting and supporting our natural resources and outdoor heritage. This is an educational event.
Along with other CFM affiliates, MPF will have a booth on the 3rd floor Rotunda. If you can volunteer for a shift at the booth, please contact Carol Davit at [email protected]
. This is also a great time to schedule a visit with your Missouri Representative and Senator and let them know how important prairie and conservation are to you. Even if you can’t help at the MPF booth, the conservation community would love to have a at least 1,000 conservationists in the Capitol this day to signal strong citizen support of and love for conservation.
MPF volunteers are needed for another outreach event: April 18
, Kirkwood Earth Day event “The Miracle of the Monarch.” If you can help, please contact Carol at [email protected]
. Thank you!
