Call for Award Nominations

March 6, 2023 | News

The Missouri Prairie Foundation (MPF), its Grow Native! program, and the Missouri Invasive Plant Council (MoIP), which MPF administers, is now accepting nominations for its Missouri Prairie Foundation awards (prairie pioneer, prairie professional, prairie communicator, prairie volunteer, and prairie landowner); Grow Native! awards; and the MoIP Invasive Plant Action Award.

One need not be a member of MPF to be nominated for an award. Current MPF board members are not eligible to receive an award. If you nominated someone in the past who was not selected for an award, we encourage you to renominate that individual. All nominations must be received by June 15, 2023. Awards will be bestowed at the MPF Annual Dinner on August 19, 2023, in Columbia, except for the Grow Native! Ambassador Award, which will be bestowed at the Grow Native! Professional Member Conference on November 8, 2023.

For full details, lists of past award recipients, and nomination forms, see the Missouri Prairie Foundation awards page here, Grow Native! awards page here, and the Missouri Invasive Plant Council awards page here. Questions? Call 573-356-7828.
