In this presentation, join Jane Haslag as she shares how she and her husband Allan discovered what non-native plants invaded their 15 acre property in mid-Missouri, what needed to be done to restore the land to its original native splendor, and what they learned along the way. Learn from their prairie and woodland restoration efforts and find inspiration in the results.
Jane Haslag and her husband live on the property she was raised on in Central Missouri. In retirement, she found her passion as she and her husband work to restore their property back to its native state. She is excited about the changes she’s seen and is eager to share that experience with others. Jane completed the Master Pollinator Steward program through the University of Missouri Extension Center in 2021 and completed her Master Naturalist training in 2022. Jane is a member of the Missouri Prairie Foundation Board of Directors.
