Typical Landscape Use
In native plant gardens, particularly in moist areas; in water gardens and near water features, can serve as a cohesive element and keep out some unwelcome volunteers. Can serve as a ground cover under taller plants in appropriate spots, as it will probably outcomplete other short species, but not taller species.
Establishment and Care Instructions
Establish in a spot where its tendency to spread will be an asset. Ideally, plant in full sun and moist soil; plant will tolerate some shade and dryness but may flop or die back when conditions are not optimal. Provide support for tall plants when necessary.
