Loose umbels of yellow flowers in April and May on 12″ stems. The evergreen foliage is rounded and serrated along the edges. Plants spread slowly by underground stems. Grows well in dry shade.Part of Grow Native! Pollinator Buffet plant tag series. Many bees, flies, and beetles use the nectar and pollen. Host to northern metalmark butterfly.
