Our native perennial version of non-native ageratums grown as annuals. The flat-topped flower heads have tufty, dense clusters of bright blue-violet flowers. A good show of color from mid-summer to early fall. Plants can increase on their own in a garden setting. Attracts long-tongued bees, butterflies, and skippers. Several moth caterpillars feed on the plants.
